Anyone have any insight as to an expected timeline?

- Submitted to PEB Oct 4th 2023
- VA percentage able to be viewed Nov 6th 2023
- Found unfit Nov 20th 2023
- Informed "Process went back to the PEB" Nov 22nd 2023 (if anyone knows what this means please let me know)
No updates since.
I figure I'm projected to actually receive my final results Feb 1 2024 or so.
Once you get into QA phase it seems it takes about 60 days recently until people may get their final results back from the PEB.

Honestly not even sure exactly when my case when into QA phase, if it went into QA when 1. I was found unfit, 2. when VA rated me, or 3. when "Process went back to the PEB". So not even sure how many days I've been QA.

This timeline is from Camp Pendleton USMC by the way. I'm under the assumption that the PEB for Marines and Navy is the same but that may not be the case.

Update:
19 JAN- VA claim closed on VA website
22 Jan- Wake up to email from VA with proposed ratings letter. I requested it on the 19th.

Proposed 100% SMC-S and K!

I'm not familiar with SMC-S and K. What is it?
SMC is "Special Monthly Compensation". There are a number of different things that rate SMC. I the case of SMC-S, I have one disability rated at 100% and a combined rating of over 60% with the remaining conditions. SMC-S is considered "housebound" whether you are housebound or not. SMC-K is for loss of use of a sexual organ, things dont work right any more. SMC-K is in addition to your monthly compensation while SMC-S sets your monthly compensation at a higher level than just the standard 100%.

Here is a good reference:

Basically it's like VA disability compensation but you get a lot more money. But in order to qualify you need to be physically and literally unable to care for yourself
not a lot really, couple hundred bucks. Now, there are some SMC's that pay like 10k a month but that is for quadriplegics and other very severe disabilities. Im doing my best to convince myself I have what it takes to hold a job. Just let me hold one for long enough I can build my cabin and pay off all my debt, then I can retire to the mountains if I decide to.

If ur in the QA phase does that mean u have been already found fit? My case is in DC and the guy who runs the desk down there said that i have a little less than 60 days for final decision letter. No one has told me that i was found unfit directly tho. I have proposed ratings from the VA at 100% P&T.

I got told I was found unfit by my ides attorney. Apparently he was not supposed to do that. I know this because i was talking to someone else over at the ides side of shit and referenced that i got found unfit and he got really pissed about me knowing about it unofficially.

I would assume that if you got 100% and one of your conditions that were submitted to the medboard side usually are higher than 30 you def dont have to worry about getting less than 30. 60% VA by the way ️

I have two referred conditions. One at 70 and the other at 40 at least on the VA side so im pretty sure i will be but you never know. Causes a-lot of anxiety.

So i had a conversation with my MSC and he made a comment to me which made me feel like a decision was made because he kinda sounded surprised (his voice) when he found out i didnt know if i was found unfit. He kinda backtracked after that and was just like u have to wait for that then.

Lol this may not be the professional way to do it but reach out to everyone at ides asking that same question. As for me i told my ides attorney i HEARD i got found unfit by another attorney because he did tell me he though id be found unfit by now and he was the one to confirm. They specifically told me they want to completely stop informing of when people get anything back before the FINAL results because it “causes stress on the patient”
