ASTHMA just approved for gulf war presumptive.

Yeah, they retired me because of asthma. I was placed on TDRL from the Air Force and then after my check-up after a year an half they placed me on PDRL. The person who I was emailing told me to put down Sinusitis and Rhinitis as well because I was rated for that in my VA disability, and they are presumptive conditions of the burn pits, I guess.
Ok,

I just had a re-evaluation on my asthma after 17 years. I wonder if it was triggered by my CRSC paperwork. Let me know if you get one too, I find it funny that this has happened after 17 years. Wonder if they are looking for a decrease to save money.

I will let you know, the VA is something else. I was at 92 percent so I was at 90 by the VA math. I was at 50 for my sinusitis and they approved me for my migraines at 30 percent, but this would have put me at 98 percent so 100 percent by the VA. The VA then lowered my sinusitis from 50 to 0 percent to keep me at 90, but I am fighting it.

Never ending battle. I will be working on migraine headaches next.

My I ask you why they denied your first CRSC claim, was it not enough documentation or was it the narrative the AF docs wrote?

No, it was how I submitted it. I started back in 2021 when the ruling came out on adding Uzbekistan to the list of presumptives. But the paperwork was faster than the ruling. So I had given up until the PACT Act and re submitted and was denied because my AF records didn't show Uzbekistan. I had to hunt down coding in my EVETREC to provide my hazard duty pay, dates, location. They finally approved on the 3rd try

Oh ok, the only thing I gave them was my citation ribbon award when I was in Iraq, it has the dates on there when I was there for 9 months on my last tour, but also my DD214 which shows I was deployed for OIF. I hope this is good enough for them, but hopefully they can look that up as well.

Thank you, yeah if they deny, which I hope they don't, how do you get the paperwork or documents to show them I was stationed in Iraq? I was there with the Army's 82nd Airborne.
