Army PEB Fort Sam Houston

Does anyone know if the Army PEB board at Fort Sam Houston are still working during this shutdown crisis? Specifically are they still finding Soldiers Fit/Unfit? And are they still ratifying VA proposed ratings with 199 production? Or are they too shut down or slashed of “non essential personnel” so that they are virtually shut down anyway?

When I went down to the PEB for my formal board, most of the individuals I worked with were military, so they will all still be working. In my case, the president of the board and the medical professional were both civilians, but I believe they also had military that filled those roles as well.

On a side note, my PEBLO is still working during the shutdown. She said they were considered essential personnel at her office.
