Most of the timelines I've seen on here are a little dated.

Anyone receive proposed ratings from the VA lately? How long did it take?

What about timelines for PEB QA before getting back to your PEBLO?

The PEB sent mine to the VA on Dec 20th, still waiting.

How long did it take from the time your PEBLO sent your package to the PEB to get sent to the VA?

I’ll double check tomorrow but I believe my case was accepted by the PEB (MOL msg) on nov 27. Sent the the VA on the 20th of Dec so a little less than a month.

July2017-Medical Eval at QTC
Sep2017- Package sent to PEB
Oct2017-VA has package Ebenefits in first stage
15Dec2017-Ebenefits says "pending decision approval"
22Jan2018-Ebenifits case has gone "historical"
23Jan2018-Called VA 1-800-827-1000, was informed package was on it's way back to PEB, and I would recieve my ratings in the mail in 10 business days.
24Jan2018-Called PEB(202-685-6422/6419) to confirm they had recieved. Was told it is in a "rating alignment"(QA officer's desk) phase to determine the Navy rating amount.
Jan2018------ ...............Still waiting

-11/14/2017 package sent up, found unfit same day
-01/02/2018 VA has received my package
-01/27/2018 pending decision approval
-01/31/2018....case goes historical today

waiting to hear back from my peblo now what my ratings are whenever they come in. im expecting ~3 weeks. also counting down the 10 days before i can call and ask what they are. or have them fax. it seems to take around 2 months give or take a little once the package is sent off to come back closed(my case accounts for holiday leave). ive been comparing other peoples timelines on here as well. 2 months ish seems to be the magic number once it is sent up. your mileage may vary.
so for you, accounting for the holidays as well, id expect it to close out late february to 1-2 weeks into march.

I think that's a pretty good estimate. I'm gonna call tomorrow to get Ratings faxed..It's my 10 day mark!!!

Mine is under historic that states closed and decision sent and also under current. I'm super confused. When I called the va they don't tell you much.

From what I’ve gathered on this board, that means that the VA has sent both your packages back to the PEB, and mailed your proposed ratings to the address you have on record.

If you call the VA and ask if they see proposed ratings in there for you, it will confirm what I said. In 10 days call and get them faxed!

I called my VA rep. He told me i was rated at 90. But i shouldnt know that right now lol for my back alone was 40.

I’ve been looking on this forum for quite some time now, I’ve found it helpful during this stressful process. On 30JAN18, my IPEB appeal package was submitted. After reading about ebenefits (on here) I decided to check mine on 02FEB18. I wasn’t expecting to see much because I was just found fit (even though I have no business being in the military at this point). None the less, my claim status said, “Pending Decision Approval (PDA).” I have no clue what it said before because I never checked it until that day. I asked a few other members if they could log into theirs, none of theirs said PDA; even people that were found fit the same time as me. Thiersall where “Review of Evidence” or lower. I called the VA, they did confirm that I was in fact at this stage, however couldn’t tell me anything; said they couldn't find any rater notes because my claim was submitted conjunction with IDEAS. They did ask me to verify my address, then said they couldn’t tell me anything about the PEB. I would get a letter once their done, “follow up with your PEBLO, VSC, or call the PEB.” I know what the steps mean because I looked them up, I have also followed this thread. However, I’m a bit skeptical, mostly trying to keep my emotions in check and not setting myself up for a letdown. So, with all that, I ask does PDA mean I was likely found unfit? Has any one ever been found fit and their ebenefits read PDA? I did talk to my PEBLO, she said she hasn’t received anything yet, but did state that if the FPEB had enough evidence they could just send my case straight to the VA. A clear understanding of PDA, would be really helpful. If it matters, I’m in the Navy and nothing was in the historical section. I appreciate any responses from experiences or general knowledge.
Thank you!

Navycop if you don't mind me asking, what was your back condition? I am on my second PEB for my back and was originally rated at 10%. This time around, after another surgery, my attonery is telling me it should be 40%. My case was sent to the VAFebruary 1 to have my conditions rated.

Military says lumbago because they don't like putting any other words on it but VA diagnosed it with two different ones I can't remember right off what they were. I am unable to wear any gear or bend forward.

Lumbago is another way of saying pain or it just hurts. I am in the same boat as you with the gear and bending especially since my last fusion took place. I was referred for Intervertebral Disc Displacement, Thoracolumbar Region M51.25 and Radiculopathy, Lumbar Region M54.16. Keep us posted on your final outcome.

Got mine yesterday. Took 33 days from the time my case went historical

Got your va packet? Or when you heard back from the board?
That's how long for the Board. if you call the VA after 10 days of the case going historical they will fax you your Proposed ratings. Regardless of what you read or have heard nothing was ever actually sent to you, you must request it after 10 days

Ok the va didnt give you a hard time or just gave you a robotic speech. I always get that and im a super nice person with them
