Any idea how much longer ?

My packet was sent off January 31st 2012. I was found unfit in less than 2 weeks, now I'm still waiting on VA rating. Anyone know how much longer it could take ? My ETS was supposed to be February 24th 2012, but had to extend to finish the med board.
 
VA is backlogged on ratings. I waited 5 months for my ratings. Remember, WTU gets 1st in line then it is everyone else. Just sit back and collect that money in the mean time. It could be earlier, but people waiting around the same time frame.
 
I was not in a WTU and my rating took 4 months from Washington state. My unfit memo came in late December and my rating came in April.
 
June10 would mark 2 months from when peb asked va for rating I am still in development phase(review of evidence). Maybe next week I will move into decision phase
 
I am in the same boat. My packet was received by VA in Seattle Mar 30th and mine still says that I am in the development phase but mine is gathering of evidence. Its been almost 90 days for me. I have been checking ebenefits since May 15 and I have been stuck at the same phase since I first signed up for ebenefits. I called my PEBLO and spoke to someone at the VA and they do not need any further evidence. Ok, so then why havent I moved to review of evidence? What more could they possibly need aside for QTC eval and records that were sent? Hopefully they get moving.
 
I finally moved to preparation for decision on 5 June hope it moves to pending decision on Monday key word hopeing. Italian2569 did your move up in phase yet
 
Mine moved to the same as yours on the same day lol. It moved to pending decision approval yesterday. I emailed me PEBLO to see how much longer it will take. Hopefully he will get back to me on Monday. He is usually pretty good at respose time.
 
That's what I am afraid of. I'm hopin that doesn't happen. Hopefully they will get yours done soon.
 
who knows. Its been 124 days since i was found unfit, 186 days since my packet was sent off....still no rating. Began 01 Sep 11
 
Don't get too excited about what the VA site says. I final out in a week and mine still says preparation for decision.
 
I was in the same situation as you. Had to extend six months. Mine took 5 months to get results back and am now outprocessing. Hope you get yours soon!
 
I am pending decision approval now. Packet was sent to Ft. Lewis the first week of March after unfit paperwork was completed. My IDES packet originated 09/27/2011
 
Anyone have an idea of how long it takes to get ratings once you hit decision pending approval under IDES?
 
I called my VA rep who I sat down with early in my MEB to file my claim for the C&P exams. He gave me my prelim ratings over the phone. Just an idea. I couldn't get anyone using the 1-800 VA number to give me my ratings so thats why I called him. I did however, get someone to mail me those ratings and got those within a week, but by then I already knew my prelim rating. It just clarified how it was all broken down based on my individual claims. Hope this helps.
 
Thanks. How long did you wait before contacting the VA rep. I am afraid to do it too soon. I emailed my PEBLO but have gotten no response.
 
I initially called the same day. I spoke with someone who wasn't helpful. He told me the Seattle office had sent me my prelim ratings and that I should see them a few days after Memorial Day weekend. They never showed up so I called the 1-800 number again. This time I spoke to someone who was slightly helpful. He mailed the prelim ratings again and I actually received those within a few days. The ratings from Seattle are yet to show up in the mail box, so I wonder if they were even sent. When I was talking to this last individual, I asked if he could at least give me my DoD rating over the phone but he refused. That's when I immediately called my MEB/PEB VA rep. He gave me my ratings right over the phone. Try calling yours. Your VA rep should have the same access to your records. I would try calling now or first thing tomorrow depending on where you are at.
 
I will definitely call tomorrow. Im keeping my fingers crossed that they are in. What prompt did you press to get through to a live person on 800 number? Last time I tried calling I had to make a phone appt for 5 days later. Maybe I did it wrong lol.
 
I cant remember what prompts. Search for it in these forums. Someone posted it not too long ago. I would call your local VA rep who you sat down with and did your VA claim with. This should be the person you saw at the VA before you attended your C&P exams. That's who I called. Got my prelim rating right over the phone. If you want to call the 1-800 number then just realize they may or may not give you the rating. The only time I called and couldn't speak to someone was later in the evening, but I am in Hawaii so the time difference was an issue. I was given the option for a call back and scheduled the call for the next day. I know you can call during normal hours and have the option of them calling you back based on the order calls were placed. It only took 20 minutes for a rep to return my call the first time I called.
