Anklosis of Ankle??

My doctor never mentioned ankylosis, but how is it diagnosed?

Would ankylosis of my left ankle be a feasible diagnosis with limited ROM?

My ankle ROM was documented in the VA exam as:

Left-dorsiflextion 0-12, plantar flexion 0-18
Right - 0-22, plantar flexion 0-27

Ankylosis for these purposes refers to an essentially "frozen", imobile or fused joint.
