Being referred to an MEB for Bilateral Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome. Completed 3 months of physical therapy, MRIs, X-rays etc. Ortho referred me to an MEB this past week. 255A, WO1, 8 Years in service.

Timeline:

07/22/2016: Referred to MEB by Ortho
07/27/2016: (Post referral appointment with PCM)
 
Update. I have been found unfit as of 30 SEPT.

My proposed ratings were completed by the VA and forwarded to the PEB on 7 OCT. Hoping to hear from my PEBLO or MSC soon.
 
looks like i'm a couple days behind you.. my peblo saw me and it was initiated on the 18th of August.. got my IPEB sent in and received by the PEB on Aug 28.. still no initial unfit memo yet.. hoping its soon. Did your peblo say anything about it taking 2-3 weeks for unfit then another 4-5weeks after that for ratings...

Any idea as to how long after your ratings the process will be, this is getting stressful for me I have a job lined up early Jan.

I started at about the same time as you it took me 19 days for the unfit memo here at Campbell as well still nothing back for ratings yet I had just received my unfit memo last Thursday. My peblo had told me 2 to 3 months for rating so I hope I just heard him wrong and he said weeks not months. he had also told me 7 to 10 days for the unfit memo but apparently they are backed up at IPEB. Good luck!!!
 
Went through the MEB process at Campbell a year ago. The entire process wasn't too bad. I felt that the gen health exam was BS but I wasn't going to complain. I started my exams last August and signed my 199 that following October. so it can be quick.
 
im sure hoping so id like to be back in Montana by February I hope I heard my peblo wrong and he said 2 to 3 weeks not months
 
I was told today by my PEBLO that once the VA ratings are sent to the PEB it is usually 1-2 weeks until the DA199 is in.

Hoping to get my DA199 is done around the end of next week. That would be 2 weeks for me.

VA chat also told me they will fax me a copy of my proposed ratings on the 10th day after they were completed if i havent already got them from the army.

Yeah it can be. looks like i am right on the same timeframe you were, just a year later.

what is the da199? is that the proposed ratings?

The DA199 has the final ratings. If you agree with them and sign it. The next steps is getting your orders from transitions. Which my PEBLO has told me is about a week after you sign the DA199. Then you clear post and start leave.

So I should only be a couple of weeks for at least my proposed ratings? im only claiming 7 things in total counting my 1 referred condition.
 
Also on my ako page where I can look at it now has me at the va ratings step. for 6 days now does that mean I have my ratings or its at the va for ratings??

that means you are at the VA for them to do the ratings. Once they are done you will have a histrocial claim that is closed on ebenefits.

i am on the PEB findings step on the dashboard.
 
Ok, yea hope it continues the way it is. I can't complain because it was started on August 18th.. wish it was earlier took two weeks for my p-3 profile due to my paperwork being forgotten about. I think I'll be ok from the different forums I've found, would hate to loose a job without having any ability to change the timeframe. I think it will be ok, just trying to plan on the terminal leave in conjunction with the permissive tdy. Thinking that way im less stressed out.
 
My IPEB came back saying they needed another C&P for the condition I got added through an IMR. Still waiting for the Campbell VA to call to schedule an appointment. Anyone else run across this issue?
 
I got my proposed ratings today from the VA via fax. About what I was expecting. Just waiting on that DA199.
 
Well just checked AKO and the tracker updated. Idk know accurate it is, but it shows that the informal PEB and VA ratings just completed and now I'm waiting on the PEB findings. Seems to be moving quick, I'm probably gonna call my peblo and see if there has been any movement with any paperwork or an unfit memo so I can get some stuff started.

According to my Ebenefits page I had DDD added to my back claim as a IDES reffered condition combined with my spondy for my back. There still hasn't been any movement on there still showing under review, went from pendind decision approval last week to under review again, but AKO showed that the va ratings were over, I'm thinking once I approve then it will update on their site? Maybe?

Go to your historical claims in e benefits. Is there a closed claim in there?
 
Ratings complete. DA199 is in. I go to sign it in then morning.

so now on my ako page it has va rating complete I have not received anything yet? is there a way I can get the va to email me the proposed ratings, and I also do have a closed claim in the historicals on ebenefits
