Wanted to Post my current IDES timeline. Process has moved along fairly quickly but seems to have slowed down waiting on proposed ratings from the IPEB



2021Jun16- CC impact statement signed & NARSUM is sent to AFPC

2021JUN22-AFPC recommends MEB

2021JUN25- MSC contacted me to get VA claims list

2021JUL8- Case submitted to QTC

2021JUL11- C&P appts scheduled

2021AUG2- First C&P appt

2021AUG19- Last C&P appt

25 AUG 26- all exams uploaded to TOL

1 SEPT 21- PEBLO notified me she has received all C&P exams, NARSUM, AF618 signed and referred to IPEB


IPEB has deemed unfit and case has been assigned to a medical officer to review case and provide proposed ratings. currently 28 days at IPEB still waiting on ratings...
 
Mine went to IPEB a day after yours, hopefully you hear something soon

Its driving me nuts being in "LIMBO" just waiting on proposed ratings for 28 days, I just want to get this done and move on with my life
 
Same. haven’t heard a thing since it was submitted. Im just braced assuming its going to be significantly lower than my estimates.

I was told that you should give them 35 days. So you should be hearing something pretty soon. They seemed to be going pretty fast with the August cases, not sure why they are slowing down now…

Once I saw my case had been closed on VA.Gov I actually called the VA and asked if they could email me the results "VA percentages." They told me it would be mailed to me and take 10 business days but since they had been backed up she would email them to me and I was able to see my total VA percentage although not individually broken down like it will be when your Peblo emails it to you. Not sure if that always works but maybe it can help ya'll and give it a try. I was able to see my results as a whole before my Peblo briefed me on the complete findings a week later.

My package was sent to the VA around the 20th of August. It still isn’t closed out yet. But my PEB wasn’t sent until the 17th of September and I got the notification it was accepted on the 20th.
 
Just updated that the marine corps VA actually picked up my IPEB case since the Airforce side was swamped. Seems strange to me...

I do know a medical officer has been assigned and the case case is under review

How did you find out that information? It seems like DOD is hard to get in contact with as far as finding an update with your case. Also that’s strange I thought the AF was doing good compared to other branches…
 
Finally received my proposed ratings from the IPEB.

100% VA
90% DOD

Hopefully will receive orders very soon, ready to move on!
