So recently, I was put into a PEB for Unspecified Bipolar disorder. However, right before I started this program I was in SARP. I left SARP against medical advice because it was uncomfortable for me and I wasn't getting the help I believe I needed. Im self reffered and have no disciplinary history in the navy. But now a month later my command says they are ad sepping me bc of an instruction. When I went to look it up it does say rehabilitation failures are cause for mandatory ad sep and they want to do this honorably. But when i looked up my proper SA its Pers and not my CO according to the instruction. I also heard theres a loophole for getting out of an honorable seperation while in the PEB process. Can anyone here help enlighten me before i start speaking to my command legal, limdu manager, limdu coordinator ect about what I can do to keep my PEB? I only have a few weeks before Im out if I dont do otherwise. Thank you!

Go see you sailors counsel ASAP. Both processes continue and eventually higher ups make the call, but an attorney can help.
I havent been contacted by my attorney yet. I was just told friday about all this adsep business. The dso office said once my commands legalo sends the paper work theyd contact me with an attorney
What is a sailors counsel? I dont think ive been informed of this option or is my attorney?
Alright Ive spoken to mr. yadnek before but never 1 on 1. Ill try getting in contact with him tomorrow he seems knowledgeable about these sorts of cases
Alright, I don't know the exact story behind it but it seems like theres a way for me to work this out. Thanks guys, I speak to my medical provider tomorrow and an attorney on Friday (PEB), though I still haven't been assigned a military attorney for this specific case.

Going to speak with my pmc, looks like I may have something to go off of here with the fact I have duty restrictions saying I am not allowed to work over 40 hours a week but SARP is 0700- 2200 every day so i never shouldve been allowed to go. Ect ect. Looking a little brighter Ill bring it up in a few hours and update afterwards!
