Additional related diagnosis to referred condition.

I am currently going through the IDES process and my referring condition is “peroneal tendinitis; right lower leg”. I completed my C&P and the diagnosis I was given were as following:

1. Peroneal tendinitis
2. Right lower extremity peripheral neuropathy
3. Chronic lateral collateral ligament sprains
4. Posterior impingement
5. Patellofemoral pain syndrome

So what I am wondering is the PEB going to make their decision based off all 5 of these or just the peroneal tendinitis?

Plan on it only being condition #1. If any of those conditions also prevent you from doing your job make sure you get working on having a profile for it. When the NARSUM comes up make sure to do at the very least a rebuttal for any conditions that the NARUSM says medically fit when you believe they should be unfit. If your commander is okay with it you may want to ask him/her to rewrite the impact statement if you are missing key symptoms/conditions that don't allow you to do your job and how those additional conditions affect the mission.

Consider hiring a private IDES attorney if you want to get the best results. They are very expensive but if you hire one its less stressful and they can personally guide you through the process to include a game plan for which the attorney will write up all of your rebuttals, appeals, VARR's FPEB's etc.
