so I’m currently doing my c&p exams and had a dental one. During the exam, the provider recommended that I get a sleep study done and he put it in his notes as well. Afterwards, I emailed my PEBLO and asked how to schedule it, and he told me that’s something my PCM would have to do. I’m confused why I wouldn’t be able to get it done during my MEB since it was recommended during a QTC appt? I’ve emailed my MSC twice now and he also hasn’t responded to me in a week. Worst case I’ll follow up with the ombudsman, but before I get that far, does it make sense that I have to have my sleep study through my PCM and not QTC? Hopefully this makes sense

Right now there is nothing to put in for your MEB. That's why the MSC would need to request one. I would stay on top of it since you are going through the medical process. If no one can help you at the MSC I definitely would escalate it. No one is going to care more about YOUR health than YOU. If diagnosed with sleep apnea or some other sleep disorder you may be able to add that as a condition to be rated by the VA for a service connected disability.
You should discuss this with your PCM. Talk about the conditions that the C&P examiner noticed that made him/her think a sleep study was indicated. Then ask your PCM for a referral. I would not wait for the VA.
