Results are back 30% TDRL, checked with jag and since I dont have too much to fight with, I'll take it instead of trying for permanent. This forum helped alot throughout the process.

My question is, if my TDRL compensation is higher then the VA, can I still apply for CRSC?

OR

Do I have to waive the Army retirement, then accept the VA, then apply for CRSC?

Also, who determines eligibility to receive CRSC, the Army or VA?

Congratulations! Remember, you will be paid a minimum of 50% of your retired base pay while on TDRL.

You apply for CRSC through the Army after you have your VA rating. Here is a link to more information: New Retired Benefit Programs

I am glad we were helpful to you through this process. Remember to keep up with your appointments and medications and continue to document your conditions while on TDRL. This will help you to get a final rating at your re-evaluation or to justify continuation on TDRL until your condition stabilizes.

Does the offset have to be VA to Army (va pay is higher) or can it work the other way also (army pay is higher).

My TDRL may be more then my VA compensation, however its 30% TDRL. Will they use 30% as the base rate or use the TDRL 50%?
If the 30% is used then I will fall into the more common, VA pay being higher.
