Received this in the mail (US Postal) on 28 July 2015:

The process involving the collection of relevant records from the military department and the Department of Veterans Affairs is complete. Accordingly, your application has been transferred to the PDBR for adjudication, leading to a recommendation to the service designated decision authority (DDA). You will be notified in writing when the DDA makes a decision on the recommendation of the PDBR.

Mine is 2014-032xx

Hey guys, I submitted my application the same year days before you. And I've seen absolutely nothing. Honestly this whole thing is crazy how long it takes. If they really cared they would have a larger amount of officials going through our records to knock this out but instead we are stuck with waiting for YEARS as usual. Oh and I'm (PD-2014-034XX)

PD-2014-017XX (~April 2014 submission) here and I'm waiting too. I "may" be in the final stages seeing that I got an email in April saying that they had recently sent the adjudicated packet to the Army for final processing.

Just imagine if the other ~90%+ of the applicants who are eligible actually made submissions. Everything I've read is that there are ~77,000 eligible SMs and there's only been ~7,000 submissions. Just imagine if that number were just doubled. I agree that the length of time is a bit ridiculous...just wanted to bring a bit of the "glass is also half full" perspective.

Have a great day!

Have you gotten any correspondence from them? When did you submit?
Thanks
I submitted mine April 2014, I have only received reply from the PDBR board saying it was sent to the Army in January, I have wrote the Army several times and I haven't heard anything.

Shelly,
Do you mean you haven't gotten a reply from the email address you posted earlier either? I just got a reply this morning (I included the entire email in another post here), but I would think that since someone else heard something too they may be going through the inbox and copy/pasting your response back. I literally just got it like 20mins ago.

My Docket# is PD2014-015XX and I am in the final stages of the PBDR. Just waiting on administrative review and signatures before my case is sent to the Army ,which should be in few weeks from the email response I got on 06/06/2016. I will send another email around mid-July because the board will not notify you when the case is transfer to the appropriate branch. The email that you received I got in May 2015 and one year later May 2016 I am in the final stages. Below is my timeline:

April 2014: Received a letter from PDBR that they have my application

May 2015: Received an email stating that the collections of medical and military records are complete. My case is being transferred to PDBR for adjudication.

January 2016: Email status and received an email stating that my case is being processed for preparation for review and adjudication and it could take several more months before its adjudicated.

May 2016: Email status update and received an emai lstating that my case is Your case was recently adjudicated and is currently in final PDBR processing. This processing includes an administrative review and PDBR signature, and when completed, our recommendation will be sent to the Army for their determination. Once the Army receives our recommendation and makes their determination, they will contact you via letter with their final decision. Unfortunately, we cannot discuss your case.

June 2016: Sent an email asking will they notify me once my case is sent to the Army. I received the following response: There will be no notification when your case is transferred to the Army for their final decision, and it will likely occur in the next few weeks.

I know its fustrating but I think it will be worth it at the end! Remember, once the case is sent to the the appropriate branch you still have to wait. I just wish that PDBR could tell us what they recommend that way it will give us some type of relief.

Yes, I wrote the Army at army.arbainquiry@mail.mil

Exactly because more than likely whatever they may recommend is exactly what our branches will go along with. I wish they took into acct. things they didn't notice during the PEB while we were on limited duty. I found out I have tendinitis in both tendons that stems from surgery I had while I was in there. I fought to get the VA to acknowledge the fact it was in my records even before I got discharged but it's not why I was released from service. For the Navy to give me 20% and the VA to give me 30% (reconstructive surgery on both feet) and 10% for my back and with everything else that's wrong I have a 90% combined rating for VA Im really hoping they change my discharge. Idk how much longer I can keep this up.
