2023 MEB Timeline

25 Jan 23 – NARSUM Complete // CC Impact Statement had to be resigned by CC confirming no changes because of wait on the NARSUM

01 Feb 23 – Routed to AFPC

06 Feb 23 – Full MEB notification
Thanks for sharing your timeline. Who told you or how were you notified that your documents were sent to AFPC? Is there a system I can check for my status?
Also, from whom or how were you notified of the Full MEB?
My PEBLO "retired" right as all the paperwork was being sent to an "IRILO" for a decision whether to return me to duty or full MEB. Since then my new PEBLO has been... not so responsive. Could the AFPC portion and IRILO be the same thing?

Does anyone know what it means to be 100% DoD? I got 100% for both DoD an VA for one singe condition (my heart) and I have been hearing multiple rumors that it means different things. I've tried to clarify with the new PEBLO but they "are not sure".

Is it true with 100% DoD for one condition that you will receive retirement pay on top of VA even if you are not at 20 years? I am just trying to figure out what all I am entitled to but can't seem to get any solid answers from the SMEs on base.

Hey there, curious about where on the TriCare Portal you saw your DBQ’s uploaded? Isn’t it MHS Genesis now?

Thanks for the guidance. I see one so far. I was hoping to be able to read what the Dr actually wrote during the C&P exam for the VA to make a determination. Guess it’s not as transparent as I’d like. lol
Wanted to make a correction here. I AM able to see all the notes and markings that the medical provider makes on the DBQ. I just had to open all the documents the provider uploaded to find it. Also, I found out that they can’t be read on my iPhone so I suggest anyone clicking around on Tricare Online, use an actual computer/laptop.

I can see them on my phone

Currently Undergoing an MEB for a heart condition and wanted to share my timeline since everyone contributing on here has helped me understand the steps in this process.

27 Mar-05 Apr – complete ¾ exams and working with MSC to schedule the final appointment. Being told it will be at least a month wait to get a date…

I am starting SkillBridge on Monday next week and wanted to provide the guidance that helped me since no one at my base had ever applied for the ETP while undergoing and MEB and there was a lot of confusion overall. The ETP is worked through your education office/MAJCOM and not your CC. I was able to get mine signed/approved in two days. Don’t let people tell you no because they simply do not know. Once you have your FL-4 from the PEBLO saying to push with a full MEB you are eligible to apply for the ETP and begin SkillBridge. Your 180 day SkillBridge window starts once you receive the FL-4 according to HAF.

DAFI36-2670, 6.10.2.1.4.
Expect to be discharged or released from service within 180 days of starting participation in SkillBridge program. Exceptions to this rule will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. An example of a situation warranting an exception to policy would include members who are meeting a Medical Evaluation Board who do not yet have an established date of separation.

Hope this helps someone!
Hello, I hope this message finds you well. I really need some guidance. I am undergoing my MEB, almost finished my last exam. MY FL4 date is 3 Nov.
My ed center has no clue about how my leave works. My program is 12 Feb to 3 May. I've already submitted my ETP, for a temp DOS of 3 May.

My question is, am I suppose to work up until 12 Feb normally, then during the SKB will find out when everything is done, then when my new DOS is calculated, would that add in my leave balance? Finance is saying, I will have to sell my leave. I've got 60 days and thought that near the end of the SKB, I would come back to out-process and then take my remaining leave and PTDY.

I signed my 618 today and checked VA.gov to find out my VA claim was closed last week. I’m hoping to have a quick IPEB process. Congrats and enjoy your benefits
