Sept 17 2014- Surgery-45 days convalescent leave

Dec 2 2014-1st Limdu

June 3 2015-2nd Limdu

June 17 2015- Refered to IDES-Met PEBLO

June 22ish- Met with MSC -claimed conditions

Aug 24- Had last QTC Exam

Sept- waiting for PEBLO to call so I can sign Narsum and have package sent up.


*Took over 2 months to have my general physical QTC exam and they changed the appt. 3 times.
 
I'm in the same boat, Met with my PEBLO on Lejuene on AUG 13th and sent my package up, havent heard anything since. please post if you get any updates.
 
Dang...well I'm happy to have someone else from lejeune on here with the same timeline to talk back and forth with. Ours are similar besides ebenefits...mine won't change from gathering evidence(documents past due)..it's killing me lol..I've called them twice...they said the system updates "frequently" but couldn't tell me exact days that it updates...anyway...I broke down and hit the button on ebenefits that asks the VA to decide on my claim..I probably shouldn't have done that but they told me over the phone that they don't need anything else...so...we'll see. I'll definitely post on this thread as soon as I hear anything...it's the only thing helping to pass the time really. Please post if you hear anything also. I appreciate it.
 
i definitely will, I've been told EBENEFITS doesn't mean anything but who knows, and i've been tempted to hit that button since every time ive called they've told me the same thing, nothing, just that they had everything. I check this site pretty much everyday so any updates will go straight on here. and apparently the system updates on mondays so results most often come into the PEBLO's on Tuesdays, if that helps you at all, but again thats just been heresay so dont know how legitimate that is.
 
Called IPEB and PEBLO a couple of days ago. IPEB was all cool but they (a chief) told me they aren't allowed to speak directly to the member. Although he did tell me that he had my packet on his desk. I called PEBLO...(my PEBLO is J.M.) Don't want to put his name on blast but I thought we might have the same one. He originally told me to check ebenefits and he's not allowed to give me any fit/unfit info...when I told him ebenefits said gathering evidence - documents pass due for 2 months now, He told me don't pay any attention to ebenefits lmfao...it's whatever though..I really need to just forget about it..I just want to know...fit or unfit?

I think I remember the PEBLO saying that the board has 3 weeks to make a Decision??? If I didn't hear from him, that's good news he said. Surely you've been found unfit by now?
 
Just out of curiosity how was the process at Lejeune, I am currently in Okinawa and I will be going to Lejeune for my C&P Exams and to finish out my process there. I Leave Oki on 24 October 15 and I am suppose to check in on the 27th or something like that. Is there anything I should know before I go to them exams or anything that can help me.
 
If your doing Mental health - that was at camp lejeune's mini VA all the docs there are gtg. A contact -QTC will send you the info about who and where you'll be seen in town...either Wilmington-Jacksonvile-Kinston- New Bern are the places I've seen. It's hit or miss with the examiners. I'll write more in a few hours.
 
yes I am doing Mental Health, for "PTSD" also my right shoulder. Do you know how it works if I have to add my back to the DOD board, I have five herniated disks with DDD and spinal stenosis.
 
Hey sorry for the delay...backtracking a little to your previous post...Write everything down before your appointment, starting now...sometimes when you have certain conditions (for example, tbi) it can be hard to recall everything right on the spot...you have the anxiety of the appt. and everything else you may have going on...anyway, writing it down before could help you to convey everything you've been experiencing. As far as getting your DDD added, I hope someone else can chime in on this because I've never gone through it. I know another Marine that had TBI added as an 'addendum'...they went to their neurologist and asked them to write up a NARSUM to have added as an addendum to their medboard...anyway the best advice I can give you is to tell your PEBLO immediately about your intentions to have DDD added as an addendum to your "referred conditions" (referred conditions are what you're being medboarded for-DOD rated....claimed conditions are rated by the VA) Your PEBLO can tell you what exactly you have to do to get it added however, your NMA is going to have reflect your newly added referred condition. Please keep in mind, I haven't been through that process myself and I could be wrong. You might want to create your own thread and post your question there. I'm hoping you get some more responses. No reason to be sorry for anything, I appreciated you help and understand about not wanting to give bad information. I think I have a little bit of an understanding on how I am going to get stuff added but it kind of seems like a pain. As far as writing stuff down, I did write down all of my VA referred conditions so I could remember it I actually went to the VA here in Japan and they went through my medical record and wrote down all my VA claims all (45) of them. Do you think it would help writing down PTSD triggers as well almost like what the doctor would write on a DBQ so then I can just almost like hand it in when I get there (Something like that), or is that a retarted Idea. An also my orders say just MCC 013 no RUC number or anything else do you have any fucken clue where I could be going, I have been in contact with WWBN over there but they told me I am not going there??
 
Not sure what this means but my ebenefits went from an estimated completion date of november to "At this time, your Regional Office is unable to provide an estimated completion date for this type of claim." any insight on this would be helpful, im hoping it means they sent it to the peb for ratings but my PEBLO has kept me in the dark about everything and refuses to respond to me via email or phone call so im just looking for any type of help if anyone has seen this before or knows what it could mean.
 
Hey, mine changed to the exact same thing...it did it over the weekend while ebenefits was "under maintenance"...I thought it would switch back after the maintenance was over...it's still the same...my old est. completion dates were 10/23/2015-12/20/2015.

Same here. Just checked again. My estimated completion was a 4 day window in the next 2 weeks. Current status is still "pending decision approval."
 
Another Marine has the same message now and over the weekend I read of others who did too. Seems like it's widespread..
 
hey don't depend on that estimated completion date mine has changed 3 times. just stay on your peblo. he/she is the tell all. your eBennies will not go past "pending decision approval" till your turn in your DD214 to the VA. please don't get your hopes up on that date. it will let you down.

PS. 4 months still waiting to get unfit/fit memo.....
 
My Ebenefits just changed to "Preparation for Decision". weird because i just called them yesterday and got told they couldn't do anything until the DOD was done and i had my DD-214. Not looking much into the ebenefits change since from what ive seen doesnt have much to do with anything
 
Ebenefits changed to pending decision approval, nice to see some forward progress, nothing from my peblo but hopefully soon.
