So I’ve been in the Army for 18.5 years. If I make it to 19 and drop retirement can I choose retirement over the MEB? Being MEB’d for multiple sclerosis.

Terminal leave (possibly called transition leave now) is active duty time.Ron,
Do you know if I can cross the finish line on terminal leave in the Army as well? Will that still count?
I am sorry to learn that you might not make it to the 20 year active duty level.@RonG I tried to push the MEB off as long as I physically good unfortunately the MEB officially started last week. I'll have 19.4 years of service when I am discharged for MS.
