09 May '12 - VA complete, sent to myself and the PEB
18 Jun '12 - Was told ratings hadn't been checked in yet, Called VA and had ratings resent
16 Jul '12 - Told ratings had finally checked into PEB, went on 3 weeks of leave
7 Aug '12 - Got back from leave, no results. PEBLO called PEB and was told "this week or the next"
21 Aug '12 - Wrote a strongly worded email, detailing that I was going to start calling PEB and AFPC myself my results didn't come back that week
22 Aug '12 - Results in! Signed on the spot.
20% DOD, 30% VA. I'm injured, but not fully disabled, so this is exactly what I was looking for.
A few problems I have. Around mid-June, I talked to my MSC and asked him if he'd heard anything. He told me that he and the PEB had received my results on 21 May, which made no sense because the PEB told my PEBLO they hadn't(and didn't update VTA until 16 July).
When I finally received my package, it was stamped "RECIEVED 14 MAY" WTF?! Are you telling me that they sat on it for almost 4 months!? Who is supposed to be punished for this? Not only that, but at the end of June I also had the PEBLO emailed them the ratings I got from the VA, and they said "it wasn't all they needed". Lo and behold, what they send to my PEBLO was the exact same paperwork he sent them! I know I should be grateful this is almost over, but I feel like someone should be losing their job.
