I called the VA and they said that they have my DD-214 and they are still reviewing everything for the final determination. I officially retired 03 Mar 2020. So I guess I’ll just have to wait.

I’m already waiting on my VA pay to kick in but which claim is showing that my claims are complete. I have four claims listed. I’m retired by way of MEB.

Yes go to the base MPF. Yes and yes. I highly recommend that as soon as you get your orders contact TMO.

You begin outprocessing after you have official orders. You will have to contact MPF to inform them of what type of separation you are doing i.e retirement or separation. From there they will load your virtual outprocessing checklist.

I just completed the IDES process. Received a medical retirement with 100% DOD/VA. My official DOS is 02 March 2020. When should I receive my first VA payment? Thanks

I just finished with my IDES process with a DOS of 02 Mar 2020. Do I need to elect VA pay over DOD retired pay? Or is it done automatically? I’m less than 20 years.

It will be sent to you PEBLO and ebenefits won’t show a percentage until you turn in your DD214 if I’m not mistaken.
