I had my proposed rating complete in October 2012...PTDY and finally retired 25 Feb 2013. Didn't they already make a decision when they first looked at my case and gave me ratings? Ebenfits claim should be done in July 2013.

I am currently taking an online class, but all I can think about is my claim. Wife says I'm obsessed! My anxiety level is maxed out and I can barely focus on my task at hand. I am tired of being consumed by this.

I called the VA and my VA rep at Ft. Meade, but it is probably like you said a year wait. i don't know who to believe because I hear so many different things from the VA and my local reps. The IDES book says we should be paid withing 30 days after getting out.

So how did you get your final ratings? Or are these your proposed ratings? I retired 25 Feb 2013 and same boat as you waiting, called VA and they pacified me by telling me 3 more weeks, my PEBLO and the VA said generally 47 days is average.
