Not sure, but the 172 is my survivor benefit plan deduction. Hopefully the letter comes in the mail from the VA. they do not even have the VA pay calculated right. I should be getting 1839.48 from the VA with spouse and 2 kids. Where is the DoD getting this 1700 from?

Nope, I have not received anything from the VA yet. Still waiting on the paperwork that explains it. They said it was mailed on 25 Sep...sigh...

I got my orders today with a retirement date of 28 Aug 15!! Woohoo!! Mine is going super fast! I think it is record time to have orders in less than 3 days.

Island boy what branch of service are you in? I was told that the PEBLO is not allowed to provide any status on you until the IPEB has completed their review. A lot of PEBLOs will let people know just to be nice, but it is not mandatory. JefeP is correct that it would not have gotten this far...
