NMA contains admin sep and has typo errors?

Good evening everyone, Received my NMA from my command a couple weeks ago (stationed in Whidbey Island). NMA states: " Due to member currently working outside of their rating, member may be able to pursue another rating that doesn't require specific medical requirements. Member is undergoing...

Med boarded, found fit for full, eaos approaching in Nov 2020 running into problems

Also curious about this. I've heard of people returning to fit for fill while LIMDU and separating just fine. Since you were found fit I don't see why you can't do your fit for full physical and separate at EAOS (yes you can do PHA at this time too). I would show NC1 & your chain of command...

Just curious... why LDES vs. IDES? When will your VA stuff be completed? Post-separation?

    Navy MDD Timeline

Congrats on your results with the appeal! Were the added personal statements the determining factor for the new decision to unfit or what? Just mind boggles me how they go from unfit to fit in a matter of 4/5 months for issues that have been going on much longer.

    Finally got my ratings!!!

Congrats! What station are you out of if you don't mind me asking? 11 months in total - from referral to new EAOS - not too bad!

    What now?

Curious about this as well. If she decides not to appeal can she separate and not have to do VA rating again? Or will she separate and have to file VA claim again? I can't even find instructions on this.

    What now?

If he/she is found fit they would have to redo all their VA claims, correct? Sounds like another inefficient bureaucratic policy to me. One finishes all their C&P exams, is found fit, then separates 2-3 months later and has to start all over with the VA. Is this correct?

    What now?

@bellasmom937 can you please post your timeline? Also, does the location of where your stationed matter? I.e. pendleton vs jax etc.

    Pending EAOS

As of right now I'm still planning on speaking with the Navy JAG out here in CA for further clarification... but for those seeking information regarding impending EAOS during the MEB/PEB process... you can voluntarily waive any compensation (i.e. severance or retirement pay) according to...

    Navy Medical Hold Inquiry

Good evening all, Just wanted to reach out concerning a question I have related to medical holds and the MEB/PEB process. All of the previous posts I'm seeing are stating that sailors that are referred to a medical board are usually put on "medical hold" when their EAOS arrives or that their...
