Unpacking CRSC and CRDP with over 20 years

Is there a 45 day timeline after conclusion of PEB Mike, is it possible to apply for CRSC to find out if approved, and if it is a lower monetary amount…then decline CRSC and go with CRDP?

Current Separation Codes on DD Form 214 NEW

In my case my DA Form 199 acknowledges that I will have a DOD follow up by March 2023 and am TDRL, I suggest you check yours cheepono. I separated partly due to the medications that treat major depressive disorder and PTSD, not just the conditions in and of themselves. These medications make me...

Thanks Ron, and Provis, My conditions were combat connected, and that clears up a lot.

Unpacking CRSC and CRDP with over 20 years

My DOD is 70% and 100% VA proposed. I will have 20 years 10 months continuous Active Duty when I retire Sep 15th 2022, after I fly out of Germany on the 20th for terminal leave. I have asked some people that “should” know what things would look like financially if I take Combat Related Special...

Current Separation Codes on DD Form 214 NEW

I am just trying to figure out now what the code ciphers into, as any block 26 code has the possibility for some profound ramifications. At the same time why the chapter 35 education benefits were in the proposed ratings. As correct me if I am wrong that is only granted for PDRL 100% correct?

Current Separation Codes on DD Form 214 NEW

Hi Provis, I have the SEA1 as well, but 70%DOD/100%VA. My DA 199 stipulates a re-eval on or before March 2023 clearly indicating TDRL, please have her look at that document again. My MSC says I am PDRL, but PTSD is mandated by law for follow up care, perhaps this is a piece of the equation...

Current Separation Codes on DD Form 214 NEW

Appreciate you JMATTK, I just can’t find ANYTHING on the newer code. If you have insight to a newer list, please advise, as there are other new codes that could hang a service-member up if they are not aware of the seriousness of a simple 3 letter code.

Current Separation Codes on DD Form 214 NEW

Greetings, I have a SEA code on block 26 of my draft DD Form 214 worksheet. I have only been able to find EA, but nothing for this newer SEA code. I have educational benefits for my dependents proposed on my VA proposed percentages, which make me think its a PDRL code, but I have TDRL wording...

    Mr. Perry Review

I am going through the IDES process, and can not recommend a resource in this realm more than Mr. Perry. While I only had a medical records review, he was essential in answering my questions. Most importantly, even in a drastically different timezone, he was incredibly available and quick to...

Over 20 years active how important is DoD%

If a Service Member has over 20 years active Duty, they will receive their pension. So how important is the DoD% since Tricare health insurance is a go for the SM’s family just by having over 20 years? Is it VA or DoD% that locks in the Tricare copays and yearly fees? I believe there are...

Current IDES attorney is retiring soon

How does one find an IDES attorney outside of the JAG attorney provided for IDES? The one assigned is already punching out, and I can't figure out ways to see what one is a rip off or legitimate.

Is a VSO equal to a MSC?

Since I am 3 months going through the IDES process, my Military Services Coordinator has been out for 2. We all get sick, and I understand that, but extensions have happened 3 times. Is the MSC essentially the same as a VSO only unique to the IDES process? Can I utilize a VSO in addition to a...

    TDRL/ PDRL

We’ll get through bud, I went to one inpatient treatment facility in Petersburg, VA, and half the patients there caught COVID while there (myself included). Keep in mind we were all vaccinated, and the place was dirty as hell, meaning a worker brought it in, then it spread like it would in a...

Post 20 years AD Army MEB for PTSD and MDD. Is PDRL a possibility?

Thanks Provis, I am just concerned about getting a job in healthcare with a PTSD diagnosis on controlled medications. I know best case it would hold up acquiring a state license in medical for a number of months, or worst case be denied. I may have to change careers entirely. I am likely...
