    Timeline for Lejeune (Late 2016)

If you look at the timeline in my signature, it took a little over two weeks.

    Timeline for Lejeune (Late 2016)

The order states 20 days. You can take it all at once and in conjunction with terminal leave. My situation was different since I was staying in the local area. I was able to extend my PTAD for about 31 days because I only used PTAD during the weekdays. For all intents and purposes, I used 20...

    VOC REHAB...

... IS AWESOME. Seriously. If you have your $**t together, the VA will help you out tremendously. Vocational Rehabilitation is right for you if you show your counselor that you're committed and that you actually care about you future. I was planning on utilizing my Post 9/11 GI Bill when I...

    Timeline for Lejeune (Late 2016)

Dang. That's a huge disparity between our cases. You were beating me all the way until the VA sent it back to the PEB. And it took more than a month longer for you to get your official findings back. That's crazy. I'm glad you're waiting for your eas now. They originally gave me a day I didn't...

    Timeline for Lejeune (Late 2016)

Finally got my retirement date. However, it's about a month earlier than I was expecting. Called/E-mailed MMSR-4 to change my date.

    Can Commanders letter be problamatic?

I did the exact same thing! I can't imagine that many would want to write up such a long document and doing 99% of the work for letter will likely get it signed with no questions asked. Obviously, truthfulness and integrity are encouraged.

    Can Commanders letter be problamatic?

I've read that it's one of the most important parts in determining fitness for duty. Obviously, medical conditions are as equally important, however the commander's letter provides the PEB with your potential ability (or inability) to be of service to the military.

    Timeline for Lejeune (Late 2016)

Some how, some way the PEB rated me as PDRL and not TDRL even though the recommendation from the VA said that the unfitting condition may be temporary. Either way, I signed the findings and ran away with my papers as quickly as possible! 30% DOD / 40% VA, PDRL.

    Timeline for Lejeune (Late 2016)

Holy crap. Just got called to sign for my findings. It took 5 days for the PEB to send it back to the PEBLO???? I'm honestly in shock. A little worried too.

    Timeline for Lejeune (Late 2016)

Received proposed ratings today. 30% DOD / 40% VA. Likely going to be TDRL. Can't say that I'm really happy. Nor am I really sad. I mean, before I was injured I wasn't expecting anything at all anyways.

    Question about ebenefits

I meant to say "sent back to the PEB", not VA.

    Question about ebenefits

You can't trust eBenefits that much! My account did not update at all until the claim was completed and sent to the VA.
