Ft. Bliss IDES started 09/27/2011

my case started September of 2011. November 2011 everything was completed and sent off......unfit and signed and delivered to Ft. Lewis the first week of March 2012........patiently waiting for this process to be over with...............currently in PENDING DECISION APPROVAL! According to the internet i still have 2 more steps in this process unless it gets lost or sent back to another stage in the IDES. I wish I had a true estimate of how much longer I will be waiting. I would love to have my family settled back in Mississippi before the new school year begins.

any advise or update of your experiences would be great!

***************UPDATE**************
Signed DA 199 today for Permanent Disability Retirement 30% I am now waiting to get orders and hope to be on my way very soon
 
im still waiting on my narsum I hope they brought another team from hospital to help knock them things out good luck to you

Sheesh, I hope mine doesn't take that long. I'm turning in my rebuttal/appeal of my NARSUM today.
 
I'm over 50 days of the VA Pending Decision Approval. VA says Im waiting on one more signature before the results are sent out.
 
Yours will not take that long Sgt Bob......just make sure you stay persistent as you have been throughout this process. 50 days is long but it seems they are coming back faster at Bliss. You are making corrections as you go which save so much time in the end and also ensures that you get what you deserve

That is the same thing the VA told me..... then I called and told my peblo what the VA said .....signed DA199 the next day

I am not privy to the "Team" coming to knock out NARSUM's but it sounds good to me!

We have the same exact timeline Mississippi. To a "t". I'm also trying to get things set for school and this is causing some issues. Who is your PEBLO if you don't mind me asking?

Mr. Jackson.....he told me he would have me out of here by Aug 3 which is the day school starts. We will see! He has not let me down yet......I mailed off school records today, so I hope it all works out

Have you got the call back from you PEBLO about your name being on the list so you can start getting orders and outprocess?
 
I'm sorry to hear you haven't heard back from TRANSPOC portion yet. Been waiting for my 199 and all I get is that it has been back at PEB from DRAS since June 13th. The Fort Bliss black hole continues.... bah
