When should I expect to get the message of my new EAS date?

Hey Everyone,

Here's my AD NAVY timeline so far.

Put on MedBoard -May21
QTC Appointments done- Jun21
Package Sent to the PEB- Jul21
findings and signing - 22 Mar 22
Message of new EAS date- ???

I was told one to two weeks to get the message but with new distrust I have with what the medboard staff tell me I want to ask the people that have gone threw this or in the same spot im in. How long did it take for you guys to get the message of your new EAS date?

2-4 weeks is the usual timeframe. Congrats
 
Hi, Navy here! I signed my findings 14 MAR and still have not heard anything. My command is checking message traffic and I have been checking NSIPS and no change so far :/
 
Keep an eye on your member data summary once you switch from 355 to 380 your message should definitely be in message traffic.
 
My MDS never changed when message traffic came- but I had to end up going to PERS. Mine came about a week after I signed my findings, command missed it and I didn't know until 2 weeks after it came out, because I went to PSD about it.
 
3 weeks now, psd isn’t responding and neither is pers. love this

What I did was contacted Nathaniel Trice. Tell him your rank, name, CC your divisional CoC, and tell him your situation. That's how I had received my message traffic that had came two weeks prior, my CoC missed it.

No problem! I kinda got screwed over by my command and am having to rush everything at the end because of the EAS date crap, so anything I can do to help others, I will lol

I really appreciate it, this whole process has been absurd. When is your new EAS, my PEBLO said it should work like a NLT date do you know anything about that?

Just curious if you knew about moving that date sooner? i wanted to start my terminal 25 APR, and take about 37 days of terminal having me out by like June 1st.

Yay! I'm so happy that he came through for ya!

As far as I know, you can try and submit a p13 for that, but I know it's hard for Navy to change dates around once they're out. Talk to your CoC because you're going to have to have them talk with PSD etc.

Makes sense, thank you! Also mine was the same situation, the new EAS came out one week after I signed my findings. So it’s been out since March 22nd and my command just missed it
 
(Navy) I posted this in the other forum as well but for anyone trying to change their EAS once they have the TDRL/PDRL message their command needs to email this email: Disability_retirement.fct@navy.mil and request the EAS date change.


I am currently still waiting on orders, hope this helps anyone!
