For real. I luckily have friends who have friends in the right places, and I *may* be able to extend that out a month so I can take everything, I'm just waiting on a phone call to see.

But for me, it's just the fact that people didn't want to check and kept sending me around to the wrong people for it instead of taking 5 min to check. I was cool with an April 20 out date, but I needed to know that THAT was the date. Could've been on terminal the 18th.

This process is just so messy
 
Got told my case moved to VA ratings officer last week? What does that mean and hiw much longer??!!

I'm so over everything. I'm not upset that my date didn't change. I'm upset that this is what I've been asking for for several weeks, and I've basically been gaslit about it from my CoC. If I knew about it then, I would've been able to take full PTDY and leave, and had 10 days to submit everything.

Sorry for venting. I'm really upset that it had to come to me basically begging for answers on the facebook groups, and someone from PSD messaging me last night saying he'll look. into it to get ANY answers about my EAOS.

I just want to go back home, my current command, doesn’t want to approve a skillbridge because “not being in 6 months of eaos, based off my contract, I’ve been in ides since November.” Like sometimes I don’t even want to fight anymore. How am I supposed to know when I’m within 6 months in this ducking shit show?

early september and august cases have been coming back(a lot still waiting from july tho), so it’s also reasonable to guess we won’t be waiting until august. I’d cry so hard if it took a whole year :’( but i guess if your expectations are low, you can only go up!! i’ll manifest for ours to speed up or whatever the kids are doing these days

look into ‘Hiring our heroes’ (i think that’s the one) it’s an internship program that a lot of ides people do as it’s basically the only one we are allowed to do. A girl at command has been doing it for almost 4 months now and she just got her findings.

Yeah that’s who I applied with. It’s problematic with my mdd these days it’s hard to find energy to fight. I am waiting to see if my peblo can drum something up, but after talking with my wife, they won’t let me leave at the end of April for this, but I’m “officially” eligible towards the end of June. I mean it’s petty as frack.

i completely understand how you feel. my command is very petty, and i’m getting very impatient. i have like no motivation so even if someone tells me something i don’t want i pretty much just sit there and nod cause i can’t find the energy to tell em otherwise
