DAWG referral appointment: 6 Jan 20
DAWG Evaluation: 13 Feb 20
(delayed due to Joint Base issues, sent to wrong MTF's DAWG)
AF 469 Code 37: 2 Mar 20
CC Impact Statement: 3 Apr 20
IRILO Package sent to AFPC DP2NP: 8 Apr 20
IRILO Result directing Full MEB: 10 Apr 20

Case submitted to VA MSC: 7 May 20
MSC Meeting (virtual): 8 May 20
C&P Exams: 9 Jun-23 Jun 20
(Delayed by COVID, Called QTC daily until they scheduled my exams when it reopened in my area. )
C&P Exam Results: 26 Jun 20 evening after COB
MTF Med board nurse reviews results: 30 Jun 20
MTF MEB amends Narsum: 2 Jul 20
Sign AF618/IMR election sheet (virtual): 2 Jul 20

Thank you for sharing a timeline during this COVID outbreak. Many others are interested in how COVID will effect their timeline.

Congrats on your rating, I hope you got what do deserved.

In regards to your claim timeline, it took around a month for the VA to give rating but how long did it take to receive your final FIT/UNFIT determination from the DOD? Who notified you and where you pretty consitsant with following up?

Unfit determination came in when I got all my findings back yesterday the 14th. So that took 12 days (but we also had a holiday weekend going on in the middle of that) and I didn't get notification that they received my package until the 9th. So technically 5 days including the weekend?

What all did you claim if you don't mind me asking?
 
Ptsd and major depressive disorder, sleep apnea, migraines, back pain, bilateral radiculopathy (legs), ibs, tinnitus, and erectile disfunction. That's what all came back with ratings/special compensation. The rest i claimed are either 0s or not service connected.
 
Wow this seems fast! You have me hoping for my results soon, I'm only a few days behind you albeit on the Army side. Can I ask if your PEB and VA ratings were worked concurrently? I was told that that is how my case was being processed. My PEB was submitted on 9 JUL and my VA packet was submitted on 30 JUN.

Correct, my VA case was all but complete by the time the ipeb came around so once they made their unfit determination, the va added their ratings and sent the package all together back to me. It's all subject to your service's ipeb group. The VA is rarely the hold up from what I've heard.

Are you AirForce? And did they rate your depression separate from PTSD or was that all one rating?

Thanks for answering all my questions. I'm currently going through the process and just completed my C&p exams and am trying to figure out a rough estimate of how much longer I have in service.

I am air force. Mental health is always rated as a single rating counting all the symptoms from your mental health conditions.

No problem. Happy to help. Not sure if you looked yet, but your c&p exams are likely available in your tricare online.

It seems the ipeb is running rather quick right now as I got a decision back in about 5 days with ratings and unfit findings.

It should be noted for anyone in or going into the official disability proceedings process that the MTF is the authority "not" a regimental battalion aid station or nursing station they have no authority over the MTF. I wish that I would have known that during my time.
 
And just like that, my ratings are in. I am amazed at how fast this all happened. A month ago I would have sworn that I would still be waiting on my C&Ps. Now it's almost over. Crazy!

What are your ratings? And what did you claim? Also, are you air force?
 
I am Army. I claimed PTSD, Migraines, a litany of musculoskeletal issues (neck, shoulder, back, hips, knees, ankles...), tinnitus.

TIMELINE:

31 JAN 20 - P3 initiated by BH provider
19 FEB 20 - MEB initiated / PEBLO assigned
27 FEB 20 - first meeting with PEBLO
03 MAR 20 - MEB in-brief
05 MAR 20 - first meeting with MEB doc
24 MAR 20 - VA claims with MSC
02 APR 20 - All C&P's scheduled
03 APR 20 - All C&P's cancelled and was told no rescheduling will happen until WA Governor stay at home order is rescinded
03 JUN 20 - All C&P's rescheduled: 10 JUN, 15 JUN, 16 JUN, 18 JUN, and 23 JUN
10 JUN 20 - First exam (General)
18 JUN 20 - Last exam (BH)
29 JUN 20 - Reviewed NARSUM / Legal review
30 JUN 20 - Request IMR for BH and Migraines
06 JUL 20 - BH IMR
07 JUL 20 - Migraine IMR
09 JUL 20 - IMR complete / submitted to PEB
