RAF Lakenheath (detailed) Timeline so far...

2 August 2017: Proposed ratings received from PEBLO (10% DoD, 100% VA) and IPEB recommends "discharge with severance pay."

What a crock!!!! Now I have to go through the formal board and appeal. This is ridiculous. They decided not to add one of the conditions they were boarding me for so my DoD percentage was low.
 
Sorry to hear that, hang in there and fight the good fight. It's almost over.
 
Just worried about the FPEB. I heard you could lose everything going there.

Don't sweat it, you're trying to add not take away unfitting conditions. They'll know your stance/argument going in. If I have to go FPEB, I'll be hiring my own lawyer. OAC has already left a bad taste in my mouth, they never reviewed my IMR when I pinged them three times. Tight ship they run there.

Yeah, they told me the lawyers don't typically speak to you unless your IPEB has finished up. They haven't been the best of help either, but I think that using a military lawyer would probably be easier and less expensive.

I'm very interested in your time to get a court date. I have a feeling my process will go to FPEB, too, and I'm trying to calculate dates. That's the hard part for me...not having an accurate timeline of when things will occur. Especially when leadership keeps asking me for updates.
 
Been 2 weeks and still no f*cking date. My PEBLO says there's no way to tell when you'll get a date and it could be 2-6 months away. I'M GOING STIR CRAZY AND JUST WANT OUT OF THIS HELL HOLE!!!!!!!

That's crazy. I did read some of the FPEB timelines and the average time to get a court date is 8-10 weeks. Hang in there!
 
I am not spending another winter in this awful country... I'm waiting one more week then I'm throwing in the towel. Nothing is worth this torture.
 
Unfortunately, once you opt for the formal board, you recuse the results from the informal board. I'm pretty sure you're going to have to wait this one out... if I'm wrong, please enlighten me-I'd love to be wrong about this one lol
 
The lawyer and FPEB work down the hall from eachother at AFPC. If you choose to cancel the FPEB, you can revert to the IPEB findings 99% of the time (as this was briefed to me by the PEBLO and OAC). The FPEB is backed up, and of course getting something off their plate would help them.
 
26 Sep 2017: FPEB Day 1- Arrived to AFPC at 0800, got Briefed by the OAC, VA Rep, and met with lawyer to discuss evidence and go over "board script." Basically a list of questions he's gunna ask me about my conditions in front of the board. Have my actual board tomorrow at 1030.

Congrats!!! Must be such a good feeling to finally know! I'm hoping to hear my ratings this week. What date did you request for your final out?

I haven't requested a date yet cuz my PEBLO hasn't received the paperwork from my case manager yet. Keeping with their 90 day timeline, I assume my final out will be 30 days after my orders are cut (adding in 30 days of leave + 30 days PTDY).
 
1 week down and nothing (as expected). Has anyone gotten orders this week?

On the bright side, I was able to convince MPF to unlock my vOP checklist on virtual... been running around all day.

A few other members have reported that their PEBLO told them of the system for generating orders being down at AFPC. I believe they were advised to wait until next week for possible order completion.
