My VA ratings were completed on 29 Sep, but I still haven't heard anything from the IPEB. When I look at eBenefits, I have one claim showing under 'Historical Claims' with a status of 'Decision Notification Sent' and another claim under 'Open Claims' with a status of 'Pending Decision Approval'.
Does this mean I've been found unfit? Or how would the 2nd claim show up?
From the information you provided it sounds like your second claim not only posted but went historical as well which is good news, your package should be leaving the VA and on its way to be reviewed for DOD ratings. I would say its safe to assume you were found UnFit.
Thank you! Yeah, the VA told me over chat that my package was sent to the IPEB on the 29th, the same day my ratings were complete. So tired of the waiting game and just want to know if I've been found fit or not... I want to be found unfit and done with this crap. This gives me some hope!
Yes, I did. It took me quite a few tries to get through. When I did, they just gave me some very generic info that my ratings for "multiple conditions" were completed on the 29th and were sent to the IPEB that same day.

The board process is pretty simple if you look at it like this:

After that, you wait up to 45 days, if you hear nothing within that time frame, safe to say you are unfit.
After another month or two, you are getting VA rated. When they finish your rating, the historical claim will pop up in your ebenefits.
After you see this closed case in your history, safe to say, you only have to wait 2 - 3 months after that to get your findings from your VA. Could be alittle longer, could be a little shorter.

And if you look at the VA rating, and find your Med board conditions under the VA, and do the combined rating for those conditions only, that's your DOD.
For example, I had 2 conditions that I was med separating for. I got 70% for 1 and 0% for the other by the VA during my proposal. I got 70% DOD because 70 and 0 combine is 70.
Based on your timeline so far, your progress is going at the same speed mine was. You should get your full findings by December or January latest. Thank god though we have a lot of federal holidays coming up so these next 2 months should go by fast.

I recommend not getting hopes too high. I mean, have hope but too much can be more stressful. Set your standards low for the med board, you be happier in the end. I set my expectations for my med board to have 10% DOD and 50% VA. Big surprise when I got my findings.

To be honest man. I don't care about the ratings I jsut want continual treatment and to be released cause I cannot function daily at work anymore. It says it in my exams. It states Suicidal ideations, Work and social relationship impairment, moderate hypo-mania (Bipolar II), moderate GAD, moderate insomnia, PLMDS, 115 degrees of rotation with lower back issues from the ROM test/35 days of work missed over the last year for pain-quarters, re occurring polynidal cyst and anal fisher, carpal tunnel, dislocated shoulder permanent, left leg iropothy with perminent cane. I just want to know that I am done and out. My body can't function or my brain any more the longer I am in. unable to attend social environments also forgot that, there were 8 things on the mental assessment.

By the way, from what has been calculated, it seems the average wait to receive findings after VA has finished is 40-50 days. That is basically a month and a half. That's not too bad. Granted it could be faster, or shorter, but we're at the home stretch.
