E benefits Request a decision button

On the claims page of ebenefits, there is a button to request a decision be made on your claim ASAP. Does clicking this actually speed things up?

It took nearly 3 months to get your ratings after your Unfit findings? holy crap!
 
It does nothing for us in the IDES system. That's for normal vets applying for a claim. I also did that a couple weeks ago. Then again, IPEB hasn't even forwarded my claim to the VA yet. Haha.
 
I hit that button before I was found UNFIT and my case was at the VA for 3 days. Don't know if it's a coincidence or if it actually works.
 
I called Providence today and spoke with them. They were absolutely awesome. Once they receive your PEB case, they're currently processing them in 15-20 days or less before sending the results back to the IPEB. If I could just get damn AFPC to send my stuff, I would be golden.

I was already found unfit and the VA has my stuff. I'm not impatient but if there was something I could do to speed the process I will do it lol

If I were you, I would go ahead and submit that form by clicking that button. It can't hurt you and it shows that you have everything submitted that you have, so they can go ahead and just rate it as is with all the paperwork they have.
