Well, got a call late this afternoon that my 199 is ready. 10 DoD and 70 VA. WTF? Guess I'll have to see what the entire packet has to say. Then again, no one has said anything about my pending ETS date.

Well, at least, congratulations on the recent notification of DA Form 199 completion! :)

To that extent, when shall you review your IPEB findings inclusive of DoD and DoVA proposed ratings?

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!

Hmm, interesting in that I received the "Development Letter Sent" message very early in the DoD IDES process upon viewing my eBenefits information.

To that extent, when I made an inquiry to the DoVA, the representative stated that a letter was sent informing me that the Regional VA Office has received my disability claim but they are backlogged and there exist an extended wait for claim completion.

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

So what should I make of this? It has on there that I need to upload a document which has to be this developmental letter. I am 169va and 241days total in the process as of today. My last appointment was requested for the second coming of my gathering of evedance the 13th and they recived and processed it on the 14th. Now today it has this letter and its in orange and win I click on review document there is a red box with today's date and a yellow exclamation point and the suspense date asking me to upload the forms? I was hoping that this was a good thing. What would I need to upload to them if this is a letter. I am lost on what is going on, with the help here and my peblo tomorrow I know there will be some clarification. Thanks again all.

In addition to my previously provided information referencing your inquiry, maybe it's a standard message which was finally posted to your eBenefits account albeit late and potentially information useless at this point!

Well, I would definitely suggest that you submit an IRIS inquiry and/or call the DoVA 1-800# for clarification! The DoVA representative should definitely be able to yield a "standard response" explaining its original meaning in my opinion.

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Thanks again, so from what I gather I should of received this early on. What part of should I have to upload and what's the meaning of the color change?

Indeed, hopefully your PEBLO and/or MSC shall have some more definitive responses in reference to the "developmental letter sent" message on your eBenefits account upon your forthcoming visit!

To that extent, please remain positively proactive while in the DoD IDES process albeit I totally comprehend that it continues to be a daily challenge for all of us!

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

It's hard to give a answer regarding ebenefits unless someone else experienced the samething on the forum, so you will probably better of getting the answer from contacting the VA, instead of getting clarification off the forum cause it will probably be assumptions in which will probably confuse more than need be, also if something is needed by you for the VA, they will either contact you via phone or they will send out a letter with info on what they need, since your in IDES that info on what's needs will more than likely come through your PEBLO or MSC

Indeed, in my opinion, Combat Eng provided useful feedback supportive of my previous reply #4124 since I have not encountered the "upload' request and "color change" advisories at this point in time.

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Both my additional PEB referred unfitting conditions already have 10% ratings each. Essentially now I am just arguing that one of those conditions was rated wrong and should be higher.

OK, then you are definitely proceeding in a favorable positive direction with the request of a VARR now while still in the DoD IDES process versus later as a military veteran in my opinion.

To that extent, is your SMEBC attorney drafting the VARR request at this point and when shall it be available for your review?

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Friday at 9am. I want to know why they lowballed me at 10%.
Keep in mind my ETS is this coming Tuesday.

Thanks for the information everyone. From what I have read the VA very well could be just sending the letter that was supposed to be sent to me in the beginning. I also read about people get a longer explanation for their ratings. The last thing was I might have to provide information regarding my PTSD "stressors" events but my medals would trump that cause with certan medals attomaticly qualify you. So this being said I have NO idea but I should know soon what's the deal is with my claim. Thanks again

The thing about being in IDES and dealing with ebenefits is that when it says it's sending you something in the mail, your really won't, that needed info is relayed to your PEBLO

Without a doubt, unfortunately for me I didn't long on until after 4pm and the people helping me all get off at 4 and the VA closed shop at 3. Tomorrow will be a good day for getting answers, they all have emails waiting and I will be there first thing for a face to face with my peblo. Thanks

Hmm, ok albeit it shall be interesting to know what the IPEB facts and findings are to arrive at their determination!

Indeed, as such, please provide updated information upon receipt; otherwise, waiting patiently until then! ;)

I will figure out what is going on today for sure.

Indeed not albeit something non-procedural is definitely occurring in my opinion!

Hmm, have you received and/or reviewed your annual Social Security Statement which estimates your retirement, disability, and survivors benefits recently?

If not, then please visit the my Social Security website to either create a new online account or sign in to view your latest earnings record. Its URL is http://www.ssa.gov/myaccount/ and upon completion you shall be able to view your own personal Social Security information.

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Unfortunately I cannot see my statement because it shows me having "recently applied for benefits". I talked to my ssa rep and she Tryed to say again I did not have enough credits to qualify. However, this time she said I'm not sure I need to research I'll call you back. Of course the disability determination service won't give me any info besides the date they made their decision.

Hmm, indeed this is very unfortunate in my opinion! :(

OK, at this point, it's a good idea to request a complete copy of your SSA case file (for a nominal fee) upon availability at your local SSA Field office.

To that extent, the "disability determination explanation" packet will include at a minimum "findings of fact and analysis of evidence" and an "assessment of vocational factors" write-ups which are very detailed to yield better explanations of any potential SSDI denial.

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

So my peblo has no idea what I'm talking about. She also said my ebenefits is more up to date than her system. Her advice was to talk with the VA. I can't get ahold of anyone from the VA right now so no idea still.

Turns out that the state disability determination put an erroneous code on my claim and determined I did not have enough credits for SSDI However, I do have enough. The ssa rep sent my claim bac hopefully it doesn't take long for a decision .
