    Have any of you ever claimed anyone who isn't a spouse or child as a dependent?

    I've been considering claiming my mom and my sister as dependents because of some issues they've been having (that are too complicated to explain here). Does anyone have any first hand experience in doing this? If so, can you tell me how the process works and tell me your personal experiences...
