Now, they are saying you will owe the AF some time (4 yrs?) in order to qualify for the transfer of GI Bill funds to dependents. Before they were saying as long as you were active duty on 1 Aug 09 you would qualify. I guess we will not know for sure until a much later date.

Jason, I just officially received my notification for my FEB for next week and it states that we have to be in our class B blues on the day of the initial brief/in-processing and when we actually meet the formal board.

You are not allowed to submit your retirement paperwork while ongoing a MEB so I couldn't. However, if they did return me to duty I would submit it right away and I have told them this but I guess they don't care anyway.
