As grizz13 pointed out, it may simply be a case of fixing a clerical error. On the other hand, they will, at some point, amend the DA199 to include the AD as meeting retention standards. This has to be on the DA199. That being said, the ones I got from JBLM were done as is, and then the...

    Adjustment Disorder news

I've had several come back but then we took care of the adjustment disorder proactively and had our memorandums to the PEB quickly. If you're straight at the PEB, then you probably are just in a long line. It is worth having your PEBLO check in ePEB to see what your case is doing at the PEB...

When you've signed your DA199 and had it uploaded, you will separate within 90 days. If they stopped that because of the AD issue, you may be looking at up to 4 weeks before getting the orders because you have to come down on the TRANSPROC list and have your orders worked in the transition...

Hopefully, it doesn't take that long, but this is definitely a place where patience helps.

Unfortunately it is anybody's guess what happens at the VA. That being said, your case likely would proceed from where it was when they requested the documents. It can take upwards of 180 days from the time they get your case from the PEB to when you get your ratings.

Your PEBLO and IDES team at your MTF should have been doing the memo for anyone who had an AD, rather than waiting for the PEB to ask for it. That is what we call being proactive.

Chances are more than good that they will hold your case until you get the adjustment disorder memo. It is possible, and I've had more than a few, that they can make a determination that your adjustment disorder doesn't need the memo, but it is more likely they will request it.

Say you get $10,000.00 sep pay for a 10% condition. The VA gives you a total rating of 50%. The VA would still pay you the going rate for 50% minus the 10% so essentially 40%, but your actual rating would still be 50% for benefits.

When you say "system," do you mean posted to the PEB, or on the VA VTA tracker? If it is at the PEB, then it would likely hit within the next week or two. As to your other question, If you were to get severance pay, the VA would withhold that amount of your monthly disability pay for the...

You would lose possible retirement versus ets with nothing, or severance pay versus nothing from the Army. The VA will still give benefits for service related issues. You really don't want to drop the MEB.

I don't know where else you can take this then. It sounds to me that you apparently have to deal with complacency running rampant. It sucks to be stuck with people who don't consider YOU their job.

If the lead isn't helping, talk to the supervisor. If that goes nowhere, talk to the IDES clinic supervisor, if that doesn't work, file an ICE complaint. Of course, you could do that at any time.

Getting the addendum to you is 100% the responsibility of your IDES Clinic and PEBLO. If you haven't gotten it yet, it is because your team is not working hard enough, pure and simple.

Yours should come any day. Your transition center would be the ones getting your new separation orders. It's possible your name may pop up in PDIR, so ask your PEBLO if he/she sees a new date in ePEB. It will show up as PDIR in your folder.

I can't speak for things at your post but, if everything processes normally, you will be separated no later than 90 days. Your name should come down on TRANSPROC within 2 weeks, and then separation orders generally follow about 2 weeks after that. Your PEBLO will probably see your name, with...

It all depends on exactly where your case was in the process before all of the CAD stuff began. Even then, some are taking longer than others. Your case may have a lot more cases in front of it.

It sounds plausible to me. It's amazing what you can get accomplished when you start holding them accountable.

Here's the thing I tell my guys. My MEB/PEB is good as a resource for AR's and other helpful information. What it isn't going to help you with is anything of substance. Why? Because the information in it is added by your PEBLO. Your case was uploaded to the PEB in December 2012. Nothing...
