Thank you all so much. I have over 561 pages of documented crap on this. lol But it isn't going to stop me from getting more documentation. I will start keeping a journal as well. It's been a rough couple of years and I'm seriously just tired of fighting to remain positive every day.

My surgery is officially scheduled for June 15th. I am really just praying that I can get back to a somewhat normal life. Zeppy, how bad was the FAI and labral tears in your left hip? How long did you get for convalescent leave? I hope you feel better soon!

I have Dr. Kuhn...everything I've heard and read about him is great. I'm pretty happy and relieved to know that I'm getting the surgery. I'm tired of being in constant pain... I know it might not fix it but I'm praying it helps.

I just got approved to get my surgery today and I have an appointment with the anesthesiologist tomorrow so I can get scheduled. I'm just wondering how long it will actually take to get me in the OR. Anyone have any experience there?

I have been pushing for the surgery in both of my hips for the FAI with Labrum tears, and now I have been informed that my vertebrae has slipped forward so it is about a grade 2-3 spondy. I will be pushing to get that surgery too. Anyone out there know the ratings from the VA and DOD on these...

Good to know! I have the FAI with labrum tears in both hips but my L5 at my S1 is also jacked up. Every time I go into medical I get hit with more bad news so lord knows where I'll be once they finally give me the boot. Ohhh the pains of getting older... everything starts falling apart. lol

I was told that since the therapeutic shot in my hip didn't work that I was not a candidate for the surgery. Doesn't matter I'm going to request a referral out in town and I will get the surgery. This is just getting ridiculous.
