Where am I in the process

I understand your anger isn't directed towards me. I feel your pain. My package was sent on June 2nd. I have called my PEBLO once a week since the 45 day mark. She has emailed and called D.C. on numerous occasions to ask what the hold up is because the status of my package changed in the system...

Where am I in the process

Their system was down last month so things have been moving pretty slow. Usually if it goes over 45 days you will be found "UNFIT" but that timeline could be a little off considering the down time. Have you seen any movement on ebennies?

    Received Finding of 'FIT'

cweisman- Just my experience, but if your son hears something from the PEB within 30(ish) days he will be found "FIT". Usually if it goes more than 45 days, he will be found "UNFIT". Recently the system was down so these timelines might not be as accurate. Either way, the longer the better in...

    Received Finding of 'FIT'

I also received a "FIT" finding back in May. My NMA had a lot to do with it. I appealed the findings to the FPEB and my command wrote me a new NMA. Still waiting on results. Do you plan on appealing?

    PEB Timeline

Usually if you hear something back around 30 days you will be found "FIT". If you have been waiting over 45 days after they received your package then more than likely you will be found "UNFIT". This is not always the case, but I haven't heard of anyone really deviating from this lately. In my...

    Please Read. Need Advice

Maybe my lengthy post was confusing, I have already written my own appeal to the formal board disagreeing with the findings I received in May. Do you think I should talk to a lawyer now or just wait until I am assigned a JAG if they grant me the formal board?

    NARSUM Questions

My command wrote me a glowing NMA even though they said I missed a lot of work and I was assigned to a desk job. I had my command rewrite the NMA when I appealed to the Formal PEB. I was not informed that I could submit anything to rebut their NMA prior to the PEB so I don't have an answer for...

    NARSUM Questions

The NMA is on command letterhead because it is written by your CO. All correspondence that comes from you will NOT be on letterhead and should be formatted IAW SECNAVINST 5216.5 If you would like to inform your CoC of what you have written, then you can use the "Via" line in the letter to...

    NARSUM Questions

Is there a sample to go by or should it just be on Command Letterhead? Are you the Commanding Officer? Only COs (and by direction signers) are authorized to use command letterhead. I would reference the Navy Correspondence Manual for writing formal letters. SECNAVINST 5216.5
