I am 4 days away from the 30 day mark and it doesn't look like DFAS has done much with my orders. Everytime I call them they say that it's processing and that it might take 60 days. As today I am schedule to receive retirement pay. I called them last week to let them know that I'm not supposed...

I have not received my severance either. DFAS have received my orders 29-Jan-2020 and still nothing. It looks like is going to be a long wait, they said 30 to 60 days but most people say around 90 days.

No. You can call DFAS but they will tell you about 60 days processing time. They received my orders 29-Jan-2020 and they told me to call in 30 days to get some update. Call them to make sure that they have received your orders.

It's ok.. I have found a good job and my severance pay is combat related so it's taxe free and the va can't recoup. I am getting severance for E6 with 15 years. Thank you
