When you say "system," do you mean posted to the PEB, or on the VA VTA tracker? If it is at the PEB, then it would likely hit within the next week or two. As to your other question, If you were to get severance pay, the VA would withhold that amount of your monthly disability pay for the condition that failed retention standards only. You would get the difference every month from the VA.

Say you get $10,000.00 sep pay for a 10% condition. The VA gives you a total rating of 50%. The VA would still pay you the going rate for 50% minus the 10% so essentially 40%, but your actual rating would still be 50% for benefits.
