December 12 2025: Psychiatrist initiated profile (Code 31)
January 22 2026: PEBLO first contact
January 25 2026: Completed MEB Intake Sheet, SHA, CIS (Do Not Retain) and NARSUM submitted to PEBLO
February 4 2026: Code updated from 31 to 37 on profile (AF469 in IMR)
February 6 2026: PEBLO sent package to AFPC
 
Can you share a little more about what led to the initial profile being issued? I am Reserves and was just diagnosed by civilian provider and prescribed medication. Other than submitting docs to medical I am not sure how to get medical to start the process.
 
Submit it to medical. If you were injured while on orders you have 180 days after the end of orders to request an line of duty. After that its an up hill battle to get it service connection.

If you need a PT profile reach out to medical and ask what they need. Ours has instruction on myimr under the profile section. If you need assistance with your military duties you can also request that from medical.

The actual medboard process begins when a military Dr. or your commander believes that you can no longer perform your military duties.

Yeah, I have been seen by MH for 4 years now. Been on multiple different medications. Continue to get worse scores on my MH assessments despite interventions. Told my provider that if things continue as they are that I’ll have to be institutionalized and at that point my provider put in a profile.

Have you heard anything back because I got the "Full MEB" message yesterday as well and mine was submitted February 11

I called my PEBLO this morning and she received my case back on Friday, 27 March but it needs additional information. They never attached my specialist medical records, despite me turning them in. My PCM is on leave for 2 weeks which is why I heard nothing but I got the paperwork to the PEBLO and it was resubmitted an hour ago.

01 June 2026: Received auto generated MyFSS message stating that PEBLO has forwarded MEB package to Air Force Personnel Center Physical Disability Operations Branch. It will be reviewed for completion and then transferred into a DES case file to be forwarded for review by the IPEB.
02 June 2026: Contacted by VA rater, stating that ratings are completed for boarded conditions but MSC did not order exams for everything else I listed on my 4138 so he will have to defer those and to expect contact from Optum Serve to schedule future appointments for examination of the deferred conditions.
