2 questions... Have you ever heard VA changing the proposed ratings while waiting for official ratings and how long does it typically take to get first VA payment after separation.

Ladydb..if you go through the IDES (integrated defense evaluation system) the military goes off the VA and the VA goes off the CFR. That's the law. However the military doesn't rate everything the VA does..just the medboard condition

I was diagnosed with non-insulin dependency diabetes in May 2015. Went through the MEB and was found fit for duty. All good things must come to an end though. I became insulin dependent within a year. I managed to hide it from the military until my RILO. I have Congressional help trying to keep...
