Help - Medications, MEB, and fitness!

I was in the exact situation as you. Three PT failures and could only test on the AC. Very limited on PT and on steroids for COPD. I had a line number for E-6 which I lost due to a referral EPR. My CC and Shirt fought like dogs to get the MDG to exempt me on the AC due to the drugs. MDG...

    Unsure of IPEB Finding

After six months of going back and forth my IPEB results have returned. The board found me unfit for service with 10% disability. Obviously I am a bit disappointed. Unsure if I should pursue the formal PEB. ADC was closed (at 1400?) so was unable to speak to anyone. They rated me for my...

    November Packages

I am still waiting for the IPEB results. Everyone but my doctor seems to think I will be separated. The CC's LOD recommended discharge. The condition on the narrative is moderate COPD/with Bronchiectasis, and mild reactive airway disease. I am on four different meds which are only marginally...

cd76, I do have my PT retest next month. I expect I will will not reach the magic 37.5 inch waist, even after dieting. With a new first shirt who is a fitness nut like the CC I am on thin ice. When the MEB process began I was ready to fight to continue my carreer. Now I am not so sure...

    Going nuts over the unknown

Chris, I am in the same situation with an MEB and PT failures. I have a new CC who is hard core on the fitness program. After looking at the AFI there is nothing to stop the CC for booting me for multiple failures MEB or not.

    COPD-Not Another Asthma Thread

I have seen where many folks with asthma are retained and that is my hope. However with my breating conditions caused by the bronchiectasis and emphysema I am not to hopefull of being retained and am trying to come up with a plan for civilian life if the worst happens. Am curious to know if I...

    COPD-Not Another Asthma Thread

The Doc at Landstuhl was more concerned with the bronchiectasis-asking me questions about history of pneumonia and such. I have had several bouts of it since aged 16. Doc says it causes scar tissue on the bronchials-cant blame that on the smokes!!. After reading several of the Asthama threads...
