    CRSC for drone operators???

    1) If my memory serves me correctly, after two years on TDRL, I was reevaluated. They received my updated VA rating for PTSD for 70% as well as my request to change "not combat related" to "combat related". They found me still unfit while on TDRL, so they retired me---80% DoD with combat related...

    CRSC for drone operators???

Honestly, I don't even know what a 1180 is, it's been so long! My signature block timeline is accurate though since I wrote all that as it happened. I do know that while on TDRL I came up for re-evaluation by the FPEB(???) and that's when I appealed again and was awarded. So, to summarize the...

    CRSC for drone operators???

I applied for CRSC while on TDRL and was awarded it.

    CRSC for drone operators???

It's been about a decade since I went through this clown show, so take what I say with a grain of salt---many things may have changed. 1) In my PEB, my PTSD was found "combat zone, NOT combat related. See my signature block for the break down, just that explains alot. 2) I appealed whenever I...

    CRSC Contradiction

Moon, It's been a few years since my CRSC award. I would term my PTSD as "cumulative", although I'm not sure the AF viewed it that way. I had multiple distinctive events, each one was documented and each could've diagnosed me w/PTSD and awarded CRSC alone. Of course, I was both remotely...

Chapter 35 Dependents' Education Assistance.... max benefit for *each* dependent???

Can't seem to find a definitive answer anywhere, but are Chapter 35 educational benefits reset for every dependent child? I've looked through Title 38, Part III, Ch. 35, but find nothing besides "not in excess of 36 months" for "each eligible person" under Ch.35, subchapter 2, 3511-- duration of...

Complete Disability Reevaluation Upon Each New Claim?

I would expect (a). Body system...as in respiratory system, musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular system? Do you have a reference for that? Much appreciated.

Complete Disability Reevaluation Upon Each New Claim?

I suppose that "sorta" relates to my questions. Not sure why a guy would file for an increase when past exam indicated improvement. Also not sure if the "increase claim C&Ps" were going over EVERYTHING in his file or just what he filed an increase claim for---the heart of my question. I'd...

Complete Disability Reevaluation Upon Each New Claim?

I could've swore I read somewhere last year that as a cost-saving measure, the VA will not be reevaluating ALL disabilities a veteran is rated for whenever a veteran submits a single new claim. They will only evaluate the specific claim a veteran has submitted. Is this true? I can't find that...

    Podcasting on SSDI???

I'm aware. Without looking it up, it's like $1300 a month. But that doesn't matter, you can make under that and still get a "work review" because you worked....even if you make $1 (it's possible I'm off-base on that, but that's how I understand it). I suppose you just NOT tell them you've...

    Podcasting on SSDI???

Been on SSDI for a few years now. I've yet to have a first review. Disabling conditions are the same or worse. Was thinking of starting a podcast and thought it would possibly help my MH. Would monetization of the podcast affect SSDI? I'm concerned that if someone tipped me or donated to my...

90% IU P&T to 100% Schedular??? Rumor Control

Thx. Was fairly certain he was out of his mind. I have zero inclination to "travel that path".

90% IU P&T to 100% Schedular??? Rumor Control

That's exactly what I thought and inline with what I know about it. Just making sure I didn't miss something...which it looks like I haven't! Thanks!

90% IU P&T to 100% Schedular??? Rumor Control

A buddy of mine that considers himself well experienced in the VA processes, gave me some information the other day. Since I'm 90% IU P&T, he recommended that in 5-7 years I apply for 100% schedular P&T. Being somewhat familiar with the differences between IU and schedular, I gave him a...

    CRSC Contradiction

Combat zone - Tax purposes as far as I know. A "combat related" finding from the peb doesn't mean you'll get CRSC, just that the PEB found it was combat related. Makes it easier to get CRSC when you apply.
