Well emailed PDBR and received back that my case met the board and is now waiting for PDBR Director review. Haven't seen that step before.

My understanding from the DAV was that if you get disability separation with severance pay and you get a VA rating within a year for the same disability then it becomes non-taxable and you are entitled to a refund of the withholding from DFAS. If this is incorrect please let me know.
