Does the severance pay go by location or how the injury happened in that location because in my situation i injured my ankle in Iraq and it wasn't on a combat patrol but doing physical training. Does that matter or is it as long as the injury occurred in a combat location?

aahhh thanks for that great info. I believe that was the case with one of my buddies he told me he got his ratings back with his unfit and i was puzzled as to how that was possible. Now that makes more sense.

Is it possible that you proposed ratings can sometimes come back at the same time as your fit/unfit memo?

So i have a question for anyone willing to answer it. Lets say i had 20 VA claims and two of them are bilateral knee condition and right hand arthritis. If the VA sent me to do X-rays from the exam and the X-rays all say normal them would that mean the VA won't rate that claim or rate it a 0%.

If you get severance and the VA rates you for PTSD do you still have to do re-evaluations or is that only for retirement?

Hey Freightlines6 did your PTSD claim go through? Did the VA diagnose it and did you get or permanent retirement? I have to go through it with that claim for VA too so im curious to know?
