Got all evidence required to go down with the VARR. I submitted it Sep 30, JAG said it should take between 3-5 weeks. Starting to get desperate and anxious, hopefully hear good news soon
you only request for a VARR if it has to do with the condition that makes you unfit. However, you can request a FPEB if you would like to add a 2nd or 3rd UNFITTING condition that wasn't considered unfitting.
My IPEB decision was unfit for duty, it's just my rating that's lowballed, if I appeal to the FPEB, wouldn't I be trying to disagree with the unfit for duty decision from the IPEB? thank you
MEB for Narcolepsy w/o cataplexy and came back at 10%, contacted the lawyers down in TX and they said they'll call me back within 24-48 hours. I have a daily sleep attack log, specialist stating from a June visit "takes naps 3 x a day, sleep 18 hours x day on weekend", the specialist also...
Do anyone have an example of a LOE for Narcolepsy? My objective is a medical discharge, possibly retirement after looking at the rating for narcolepsy and realizing where I fit in, thanks in advance.
Yea there was another post here that stated making sure you having those seizures documented for that purpose, I already started that and I will let my specialist know how to document my episodes throughout the day for that reason, the condition is just so new that a lot of it is still unknown...
Currently undergoing an IPEB. The case just got sent down to AFPC, I'm beyond certain that the rating that I receive from AFPC will be nowhere close to what I deserve. diagnosed with narcolepsy and I know that when they look through my file they're looking for minor seizures or petit mal, and...
Don't quote me on this, but i've heard that once the decision from AFPC Air Force, to either full MEB or return to duty, you have 6 days to either agree/disagree.
Okay thank you a lot, when you got that the 10% rating, was that from AFPC right after the IPEB? their initial rating? how easy was to actually get the rating changed? thanks man
I'm a little confused by what youre saying... To clarify, you suggest for my sleep specialist to fill out the DQB and to also state the amount of "episodes" i get throughout the day/week/month? what's an ALTA note? and am I too late for this? my package is being sent to AFPC this week or next...
