only about a week wait

Got my orders for ritirement yesterday. briefing @1100 today and ID card tomorrow.... Dfas already started my paperwork and said I should be paid by 28 April.. It's been a VERY VERY LONG AND GRUELING wait and process, but everyone hang in there and when you least expect it things will be done...

yes I've been calling all for the last year . I would call every few months and finally he had my paperwork , about 3 days later I got my letter

I remember back in 07 I was upset that they were recouping the severance because even then the rules state that if it was a result of combat it shouldn't be recouped

you have to wait on the paperwork unfortunately, and wherever you separated from is where you will do your briefings and paperwork... I.E. I got out from Hood and that's where all my new paperwork has to be done and briefings , because it's crazy they basically put you back in for the day
