My personal opinion is it is worth it to submit the package and get your discharge changed to a retirement. It will be a very long process but in the end it may be worth it depending on your situation. If you are getting VA at 90% as you stated then it will not change anything money-wise...

This morning my status was the same and it still showed that my estimated completion window had passed (11/4/2018-11/09/2018). I just logged in again on a whim and now my window has changed! So.... they just made this change within the last 4 hours but they sure didn't give themselves much...

I am not an expert of course, but Yes. It is my understanding that if you refuse your VA appointments they can discontinue or lower your VA compensation payments. This is the case because if you discontinue VA appointments then it looks as though your disability is not dire and you don't...

I wouldn't leave until I got those documents. You cannot get a retired ID without them.
