The NLT date is the you have to be out. So if you have leave days, you can adjust your NLT date to reflect your leave days. However, the NLT date you was given can not be change to a later date. You can change it to an earlier date. For example, you NLT date is Nov 5th, you can change that date...

Got my 199 four days after my case closed on va.gov and nine day later I got my NLT date. That was my timeline, as you know we all have different timelines. Good Luck!

I got my 199 six days after my case closed on va.gov. If you don’t appeal what is on your 199 then you will move to the transitional phase of the process.

My case just closed too on the 20th of June and I got my 199 today.

I don’t know why it is taking that long. My case closed on the 20th and I just got my 199. You need to tell your Peblo to do an inquiry with PEB.

From what I understand, your ratings has been completed and send back to PEB. However, your initial claim from 28JAN19 will not close till you get out of Active duty. That’s when the VA finalize their end and you start getting your benefits. Hope that helps.

Man, this is scary! I am also at Fort Hood and at 71 days waiting on ratings with no guardians. Peblo and MSC are no help to me. I pray that your case close soon. Do you see updates on your case on va.gov? Because mine say request 1 processing since April 10th.
