    To qualify for a 20-year active duty retirement, you would need 7,200 points as this translates to 20 years of service (For USAR)

    You go through the MEB for the "referred" disability, but are evaluated in it's entirety and receive ratings from the VA for all Disabilities and a rating for your service injury under DoD

    You should be able to include ANY ailments/injuries/issues you have incurred while in service, the examiner will then make the determination if the aforementioned will/should warrant a rating.

    Those claims will likely be re-evaluated as well. I recommend letting someone know the status of that appeal.

    Your current rating will not be "deleted" while in the MEB, however you will likely go through an entire evaluation (to include what you're currently rated for" and you will either remain at your current rating, receive a decrease or an increase.
