Yes my husband is Type 1 as well. But we've only seen 20% and 40% ratings for Type 1

Do you mind me asking how you got that high of a rating? I thought the MEB/PEB only rated you for the boarded condition (Type 1 Diabetes in this case). I'm worried that the rating for that would only be 20%, forcing separation and not retirement.

Would you mind sending that my way too? My husband just had a PEB initiated for T1D and is going to fight to stay in, but if that doesn't work out we're hoping to be able to get at least 40% for retirement instead of separation. Thank you!!
